“Act properly with your seniors, not me.

You should know that because you have eyes, too.

I didn’t even say hello to him a while ago, but he couldn’t get a hold of himself when he saw me.”

“What What did you say”

“Distasteful rumors I would like to ask you this question.

What am I missing if I don’t have that guy”

“You referred to him as ‘that guy’ Are you crazy”

“It’s not me who was crazy.

It’s you.

You are telling me that we were childish when we were students It’s not much different now and then.

You’re the one who is acting very childish right now.”

“You! You!”

Yernia tried not to be brave, but she couldn’t help her hands from trembling.

“I’m so sorry to see you trying to protect someone who I wouldn’t take even if you give it to me.”

Daisy’s body trembled when Yernia finished talking.

She was so angry that she couldn’t stand it.

It wasn’t good for such a marvelous senior to turn into a gum that she had chewed and spat out more than anything else.

She wouldn’t want him even if she gave him to her

Are you disparaging her for marrying him

Every word Yernia had uttered had scratched Daisy’s pride.

“Stop swearing at me.”

Daisy tried to speak calmly, but the tip of her tongue trembled with a wave of indescribable anger.

“Stop it yourself.

Daisy Philene.”

“You must still have feelings for the senior.

Is it because you hate me so much that you are criticizing me now”

Yernia couldn’t even laugh because she was speechless.

Did she think like that

“What are you talking about”

“You’re right.

You don’t want to catch the bouquet because you like him.”

“Stop talking nonsense.

Please don’t get me wrong.”

Daisy laughed at Yernia, and she hated it so much when she told her that

“I know.

Yernia is about to get married soon, so she has to think about this seriously.”

The voice that popped in on the conversation belonged to another party.

She had no idea that  Cassian was there.

He stood beside her and wrapped his arms around her shoulders.

“But isn’t that too much”

Yernia’s eyes narrowed at Cassian’s murmurs.

What

Was he on Daisy’s side right now

She was a friend, of course.

Yernia didn’t even care that Cassian had brought up her wedding because of the series of disappointments she experienced.

It’s a bit childish, but what can she do

From now on, Daisy became Yernia’s old enemy.

“Will Yena be able to see such a handsome guy again for the rest of her life”

Still hugging Yernia from behind, Cassian turned, and his eyes landed on the senior who had just returned to the waiting room.

Cassian did not stop there.

He pointed at his senior by jutting the tip of his chin.

The senior’s face slowly turned red when he realized he was insulted twice a row.

Daisy tried to refute it but couldn’t.

She was outraged, but it felt right to hear that.

She didn’t want to admit it, but her senior, who possessed a red face due to constant heavy breathing, can’t be compared to Cassian, who appeared neat and calm.

Daisy bit her lip.

“Yernia, please leave this place.

You’re ruining my wedding.”

“I haven’t even started yet.

Congratulations on your wedding.

You two look so good together.”

She smiled politely before turning her back at her.

Good.

Good job.

Seeing Daisy’s and her senior’s exasperation made her feel a little relieved.

Yernia tried to exit the room while wearing a satisfied smile, but that didn’t go her way.

She glanced up at Cassian when she realized her fingers were stuck in his grip.

“Philine, don’t worry too much.”

Cassian’s rolled his eyes a little without avoiding Yernia’s puzzled gaze.

Facing Yernia, Cassian raised their interlaced fingers and pressed his lips at the back of her hand.

Dark chills ran down Yernia’s spine.

She knew Cassian too well that nothing would come good if he started acting insincerely.

Yernia was getting anxious, but before she could say something, Cassian threw a bomb.

“Yernia, marry me.”

Pang!

The victims of this giant bomb were Yernia and herself, no one else.

***

“Are you going to be like this”

Yernia dragged Cassian away from the bride’s waiting room after letting the bomb explode.

Then, she stopped in a corner.

It was pretty far from the bride’s waiting room, and the stairs that led to the bottom were not very crowded.

Yernia finally released Cassian’s hand, and her body shook hard from the anger.

“You told everyone that you and I are getting married Who said that Who said that”

“It might not be you, but everyone from the Cilliard family.”

Yernia had nothing to say to him.

After hiding for no reason, Yernia took a rest and raised her head at him.

“Why did you tell that to someone else”

He suddenly uttered a wedding announcement in front of Daisy, and it was a marriage that she hadn’t even agreed upon!

Likewise, it was a public marriage that was not agreed upon.

“It’s because it seemed like you were in trouble, and everything would be fixed with just a single word from me.

I’m not lying.”

“…….”

“Honestly, I thought  you were in a good mood about it.”

Yernia’s body flinched.

It was completely unexpected that Cassian had allowed the bomb to explode.

He might be correct, but it was something to be flustered and angry about for her, but…

The faces she had witnessed in the waiting room—particularly Daisy and that senior–came to mind.

To be honest, she was glad to see their shock as both of them stared at her.

It made the corners of her mouth twitch in amusement.

“Hmm.”

Yena tried to make a straight face.

That’s it.

This was it.

“Aren’t you concerned about the rumors”

“Why are you worried about that”
