Happy Monday!

Heres the chapter, enjoy.

In the end, Director-sensei cried.

And, my younger sister was crying even more.

At first, I did not show up even when it turned dark, and everyone at the orphanage had gotten angry because I made them search for me, sick with worry.

And, when asked about where I went, they had gotten angry as they cried when I told them that I was in Dragon Forest.

Although it was safe to  certain extent, it was by no means a place that a three year old child should be in.

After that, when I told them the reason why I went there, they had apologized while crying.

Truthfully, I went because the orphanage was poor, but I lied and said I went to look for food because I was hungry.

Either way, it was the truth that I had gone to Dragon Forest, so my reason for going was trivial.

By nature, a three year old child would not do such things.

If my mind was also that of a three year olds, I wouldnt think of this.

However.

The kind Director-sensei and the honest children, such people, were not really able to judge how old my mind was, but Im a good adult and I was worried, so if I had the power to help, I probably wouldnt be able to stand still.

Since I was originally Japanese (lol).

Maa, I was so rash, perhaps it was because I had yet to understand the scariness of monsters….

After I had returned, my younger sister clung on to me and did not stop crying.

We had always been together since she arrived at the orphanage, and we were separated for close to half a day, so it seems that she was lonely.

That day, my younger sister did not let go of me until it was time to go to bed.

Incidentally, they had been delighted by all the things that I brought back.

The firewood, that went without saying, and it seems that the medicinal herbs could be sold as well.

Director-sensei and the others were happy with the Japanese yams and potatoes, but as expected, the children liked the fruits.

Especially the girls, as they asked for more.

There were no sweets included in the orphanages meals.

There werent a lot of fruits either.

As expected, sugar was highly valued in this kind of world.

Its not that we couldnt buy it because we were poor, right Id never gone into town, so I couldnt make a judgement….

The following day, I was being monitored.

It seems that I would not be able to sneak out of the orphanage.

To be exact, my sister did not take half a step away from me.

Director-sensei told me that I was to stay with her the whole day as my punishment, so lets spend some time with my younger sister today.

It just so happened to have something I wanted to do as well.

I got permission from Director-sensei, and I decided to cultivate a garden in a corner of the premises.

I intend to plant the potatoes that I brought back yesterday that were too small to eat.

The orphanage originally had a kitchen garden, but they had only planted herbs.

If its potatoes, they would turn out well, compared to other vegetables.

I started working on the garden together with my younger sister.

My sister enjoyed doing things with me, so it couldnt be helped.

As we continued to do our work, all the children came and in the end, everyone at the orphanage helped with the garden.

It would be great if we could grow a lot of potatoes~.

After that, I had obediently stayed at the orphanage for a few days.

A few children were standing in front of the garden and staring at it.

It seemed that the steamed potatoes that we had in a meal were delicious.

Was there a difference in the ones that we bought in town and the ones that were naturally grown

I poured a bit of mana over them so that they grew faster.

If things go smoothly, they will grow well, just like my younger sister and I.

It had been a week since I went to the Dragon Forest.

The fruits that I had brought back that time had been consumed.

No more fruits appeared during mealtime, so the orphans peeked over at me from time to time.

Un, they were probably thinking that they wanted to eat fruits again, but they couldnt let a family member go to such a dangerous place like Dragon Forest.

It seems that my Item Box was the type that suspended time and I had put a few fruits in there, but I wanted to save them for emergencies.

I consulted with Director-sensei.

She had noticed what was going on with the children, but she didnt want me to go to Dragon Forest.

We continued our discussion and when she realized that I was going to go even if I had to sneak away, she reluctantly gave me permission.

In return, she made me promise various things.

I will go once a week.

I will not go deep into the forest.

If I see monsters, I will run away at once.

Even if I didnt harvest anything, I had to to return before it got dark.

And, I was handed a knife even though I was young.

I was told that it was for self-defense, but I was thankful for it.

Since it would be convenient to have a sharp tool when harvesting.

It had already passed noon today, so I will depart tomorrow.

Now then, will I be able to successfully deceive my younger sister tomorrow
