Dio thought that he might have a rest for once in a while, but he didn’t expect to have a run-in with Thor!

“Thor! How are you these days!” Steve asked as he and the rest of the Avengers were surprised to see Thor again.

Thor then started to talk about his days in Asgard and what he came down here for.

Steve also told Thor about the Hell Invasion earlier.

In a way, Steve learned about Odin’s diminishing life force while Thor was startled by the catastrophe that befell Earth when he was gone!

“So, you want us to help Asgard through this Ragnarok thing” Steve asked curiously.

As an Asgardian, Thor never felt Asgard would be in crisis, so he was always cheerful around the Avenger as he never thought of Earth as his home.

“Wow, I like this kind of drama! Let me watch from the sidelines!” Pietro said with a smirk plastered on his face.

Dio frowned as he didn’t really want to go to Asgard to prevent Ragnarok from happening as he knew for sure that Ragnarok must happen in order to drive out Hela!

“Well, what are we waiting for Let’s go to Asgard!” Sam said in high spirit.

Everyone else was also excited to visit Asgard, that was except for Scott, who had to return to Wakanda, and Dio, who was standing still quietly on the side.

Dio could relate with the eagerness of the heroes to get out of Earth as they’ve already gone through so many adversities, but then again, the danger that awaited them on Asgard wasn’t really a walk on the park either!

Hela, the goddess of the underworld, surely could knock out the Avengers with her tremendous power.

Furthermore, if they fought on Asgard, then Hela would be a lot stronger! Dio, who knew what would happen, remained quiet as he still didn’t know what to do.

Hela and Surtuur were Odin-level enemies that wouldn’t be easy to defeat!

Both of them were probably as strong as Mephisto that attacked Earth earlier, if not more, as Mephisto was t his weakened state during the invasion.

But Surtuur was actually not really a danger right now as long as his crown didn’t come into contact with the Eternal Flame.

The only concern right now was only Hela!

The problem lied with Hela that drew her power from Asgard, so as long as Asgard was still standing, she was basically invincible! That was the reason why Odin was only able to exile and trap her in Helheim instead of killing her, as Odin couldn’t destroy Asgard solely for the sake of burying his daughter!

That was why Dio didn’t want to intervene with Ragnarok, as it was the only possible outcome if they wanted to defeat Hela.

If Hela wasn’t defeated, Asgard was as good as gone as she would turn everyone into her slave! The point was, Asgard was screwed no matter the Ragnarok happened or not!

Dio thought of every possible outcome he could think of, but he couldn’t find the best solution for Asgard’s problem.

He had a vague idea that could possibly help him later, but he didn’t want to reveal it right now.

“Alright, but I need to talk with Dio privately for a while,” Thor said solemnly.

Everyone else nodded and left the room as they understood what Thor really wanted.

Seeing Thor’s face, Dio immediately knew what Thor wanted, but he let Thor said it nonetheless.

“Is there truly no hope for my father” Thor asked with a sad expression on his face.

“I don’t really know if there is any race out there in the universe that could really live forever, but I know for sure that Asgard wasn’t one of that race! Odin could live this long was actually a blessing, but forcibly extending someone’s life might not be a good thing, and he really had to wish it before it could happen!” Dio said solemnly.

Thor fell quiet as he knew Dio’s words were the truth, but he couldn’t just accept the fact that his father would die!

Odin had lived more than half a million years of Earth’s time, which meant Odin was already living and kicking before Humans even existed.

Compared to human life, Asgardian’s life indeed looked like that of a god, but Asgardian didn’t have eternal life, meaning that they would succumb to old age just like a human would!

“You are right, but it was difficult for me to accept this fact!” Thor said as he sighed sadly.

“But actually, I have another reason for coming to Earth this time, and it was to get Loki back to Asgard! I want him to see our father for the last time as he is my brother and father’s son!” Thor said with a frown on his face.

“Loki Is he on Earth right now” Dio asked curiously.

“Yes, it was Heimdall that told me that Loki has come down to Earth for quite some time, and he was enjoying himself tricking people here on Earth,” Thor said annoyedly.

Dio nodded as it was truly something that Loki would do, but he couldn’t help but think that the plot was completely messed up!

“So, when will you look for him” Dio asked curiously.

“As soon as possible!” Thor said confidently.

Although he wanted to stay longer with everyone, he really couldn’t do that as he would inherit the throne from Odin this time.

“Well, if you know where Loki is, let’s go now!” Dio said indifferently.

He immediately walked towards the Stealth Jet that he borrowed from Wakanda to travel with Thor this time, as Galaxy had fallen into a deep slumber after consuming so many Hamon Beads.

But honestly, Dio was looking forward to what Galaxy would become after she woke up! If her ability didn’t improve after consuming so many Hamon beads, then Dio would suffer a big loss! But now, it didn’t matter as he had to help Thor first! Now, the destination was Egypt!
