Chapter 147: He Han: Even if You Have a Kid, I’ll Still Pursue You (4)

He Han’s lips curved up and a tinge of mirth could be seen in his eyes.

After Ye Fan was done tidying up the things on the dressing table, she looked up again.

He Han was gone.

The way out was empty when Ye Fan stepped out of the dressing room.

In the autumn night, the evening breeze was slightly cool.

During the day, many crews came and went, there was no telling how many shows would be shot in the same set.

It was currently nighttime.

Ye Fan’s work ended very late.

All the rest of the crew had almost packed up and left.

The studio was quiet after work was over.

Her car waited for her not far away, but before she headed over, she noticed a silhouette.

He Han was leaning against the wall, his face half-hidden under the streetlights.

He was looking over in Ye Fan’s direction, as if he was waiting for her.

Ye Fan was stunned.

She recalled all those coincidences earlier, and also the director’s impromptu addition to their shoot tonight, and she felt that something was off.

If that scene was added deliberately by He Han, then it was necessary for her to keep her distance from him.

After Dudu grows up a bit more, there are many things she won’t be able to hide anymore.

Ye Fan’s goal was simple.

She just wanted to do her part in acting and raise Dudu up.

Other than acting and work, she had no wishes to involve herself with He Han in any way.

Seeing her stop in place for a moment, He Han’s cool voice rang out.

He called out her name.

Two simple words poured from his lips, but they sounded so pleasant.

“Ye Fan.”

Ye Fan could not help but head towards him.

She stopped in front of him.

The lights at the studio had already gone out.

Only the streetlights in the distance were still on.

The two of them had a clear look at each other’s faces, yet they couldn’t tell what the other was thinking.

“Heading home” He Han’s voice was calm, as if he was just chatting idly with her.

Ye Fan nodded.

“Yeah.

And you”

“I’ll head back in a bit.” He Han leaned over slightly.

“Your acting was great today.

Good progress.”

Ye Fan and He Han looked at each other.

Her eyes were clear and whilst his were deep.

The two of them coincidentally thought of their scene from today.

Ye Fan’s cool voice was clear.

She didn’t beat around the bush.

“Did you add that scene today on purpose”

Whatever thoughts He Han had, she hoped to stop them.

He Han paused for a moment, then his lips curved up faintly.

“And what if I say yes”

Ye Fan was stunned.

She had originally figured that He Han would evade the topic, but she didn’t expect him to answer so straightforwardly.

She changed the topic and said it in another way.

“There’s something that you’re not getting clear, He Han.”

“Is that so” He Han rolled out those words carefully, amusement floating in his eyes.

He thought about it with interest for a moment.

He scrutinized Ye Fan’s face, then his deep voice emerged from the night.

“I don’t think it’s going to be anything worth regretting, however.”

Ye Fan calmly spoke.

“There’s something I need to tell you.”

If He Han knows that she already has a child, he probably won’t be interested in her.

Now that Dudu was still young, even if he knew what he looked like, He Han still wouldn’t notice anything strange.

He Han wouldn’t go and investigate Dudu, nor would he suspect that the child was related to him.

After all, she and He Han had only known each other in the studio this year, and they had no connection whatsoever.

“Hm What is it” He Han stared at her.

The night breeze blowing in the background brought his scent over.

As if sensing her hesitation, He Han smiled.

“Just lay it on me.”

Ye Fan looked up and met his eyes.

Her lips parted, and her tone was serious.

“Actually, I already have a child who’s almost three years old.”

The air was silent for a moment.

Observing his face, Ye Fan couldn’t find any emotions on it.

She breathed a sigh of relief.

He Han really stepped back.

Now, all she had to do was hide Dudu away.

At this moment.

He Han smiled and said two words.

“I know.”
