When it came to combat skills, Dio wasn’t even as good as Natasha and Steve! But if Dio’s other abilities were included, including the [Reaper’s Gaze] he was wielding right now, his fighting prowess easily surpassed the other Avengers! Plus, [Reaper’s Gaze] was the vessel for [Anubis], his independent Stand that could remember his opponent’s movement and technique and countered it at the same time!

In other words, Dio would constantly get stronger during any battle as [Anubis] would always evolve as it memorized the opponent’s technique one after another.

Dio’s ability was so overbearing that it was unfair!

Mephisto’s clone might not be able to use his true strength, but his fighting skill wasn’t to be laughed at! His fighting skill was honed through constant battle in hell.

Thus his hand-to-hand combat was among the best in Marvel Universe! The only difference was that the clone couldn’t use his powerful demonic ability, including some of his advanced magic casting skills.

So, when Mephisto saw Dio challenging him, a mere human, to hand-to-hand combat, Mephisto was pissed! Even when the Ancient One stopped him in his endeavour from coming into the Earth in the past, she wasn’t willing to fight fairly against Mephisto!

But after quite some time, he realized that the human was pretty skilled.

Although it might still be lacking to fight Mephisto when he went all-out, this man surely got potential! Even so, Mephisto was still quite interested in the human’s weapon! The black greatsword that he used right now wasn’t his real weapon, although its appearance was the same.

This Black Great Sword that he used right now was just a cheap replica that he made with his demonization, similar to what the Ghost Rider did to his chain.

The Earthling’s weapon would destroy his weapon if he didn’t reinforce it with magic, but even so, Mephisto knew that it would break soon! If this battle went on, Mephisto would be ashamed as he would lose to a mere mortal! The human wasn’t only able to fight him head-on, his move even got sharper as the battle went on!

There was no way a human could improve this fast.

The human even dared to use his technique against him! Mephisto got more unease as he fought Dio as Dio kept absorbing Mephisto’s technique! Not only that, but Dio’s power and speed also improved!

In Dio’s perspective, the battle became more intense as time went by.

He held the big scythe firmly while his body moved according to [Anubis]’ will! His attack was trying to hit Mephisto from a very unusual angle, and each attack was aimed at Mephisto’s weak point!

In most cases, a person’s fighting style only followed a certain path, but Dio’s fighting style right now was insane! Even Dio himself wasn’t used to moves like these.

It was all [Anubis]’ doing! His fighting skill would only go up at this point as Mephisto was already forced to stay on the defensive!

Even after pushing Mephisto’s clone to a corner, Dio began to consciously held back as he wanted his fighting skill to improve much faster by kept fighting Mephisto.

He knew that he wouldn’t be able to find anyone that could stimulate [Anubis] this fast, at least, not in anytime soon!

Mephisto himself was in a predicament right now.

His pride as one of the lords of hell wouldn’t let him escape as it would be truly embarrassing if anyone ever happened to learn about this! He tried to combine his fighting skill with his magic further to throw off the human’s unusual fighting style, but it didn’t work!

“Don’t push me, Human!” Mephisto shouted as he quickly swung his greatsword upward at an inhuman speed.

Technically, his opponent should be cut in two as there was no way they could defend against such speed, but the human in front of him evaded it with no problem!

But Mephisto smirked as Dio fell under his trap! The first time his sword slashed downward, he set a trap on the ground that would bound the opponent’s feet to the ground.

Dio frowned and immediately slashed the ground with the scythe.

He could use his Stand’s power, but he didn’t want to do it now as it would only end this fierce battle.

He still wanted to improve his fighting skill a little bit more!

“Dance of the red scythe!” Dio shouted as he began to spin while the scythe was releasing a flower-like compressed air blade in full bloom!

Mephisto was startled as he tried to attack the human because the human fell into his trap, but the human immediately used some kind of technique that covered a wide area! Not only was the human able to escape his trap, but he also attacked at the same time, pushing Mephisto back!

The red scythe that the human swung created afterimages in the air, like flower petals falling and fluttering on the air, but in fact, it was a light-speed slash! Mephisto never expected a human to have such an elegant technique, but then again, this wasn’t the first time the human surprised him!

When a petal fell at Mephisto’s face, he fails to block it, and as a result, Mephisto’s face was slashed!

“How dare you, Human!” Mephisto furiously said as he lined his great sword with Dio, and a wind gust appeared in front of the sword, blowing the petal away from him! This gust that suddenly popped out of nowhere also absorbed all the air around the area and made the area devoid of oxygen!

Dio was surprised because he suddenly couldn’t create any more flower petals as the air could no longer condense in the area! But it didn’t deter Dio at all as he still moved forward to attack Mephisto with all his might!
